Event Photography

If your corporate, sporting or fund raising event needs to stand out above the rest, what better way than to have it professionally photographed? I can photograph your event and have photos on-line for your participants and guests to view that same day. Some of my past events have ranged from Charity Golf Tournaments to Pop Warner Leagues to Corporate Holiday Parties to High School Prep Sports to exclusive Black Tie Charity Events.

Award-Winning Photojournalism

My first photograph was published many years ago in high school while shooting sports for the local newspaper. Since that time I have had countless images printed in numerous formats by many different companies and organizations, both within the U.S. and internationally.

In March of 2004 I took First-Place in the People in the Park category of a contest sponsored by the Florida Park Service.

In June of 2005 I was awarded First-Place Sports Photograph in a Weekly Newspaper by the Florida Press Association for my work in 2004.

Portrait Photography

Of all of the types of photography that I do, I most find myself drawn to images that include and focus on people. I create very unique environmental portraiture, business portraits, as well as sports portraits. My images don't just capture people, but capture them in their true spirit. The people in my images are alive and connected to the viewer, not lifeless and tired.

It is true that many of my images are on the fun side, but that is proof that I bring out the best in my subjects during a shoot. If you are interested in a portrait that is unlike any other you have seen, I can make that happen.

In college my major was Theatre, so it is no surprise that I can also capture those creative artists with ease. And because of my passion for music from an early age coupled with my working in the music industry for a number of years, I also have a strong ability to capture Musicians at their craft.

Sports Photography

Sports photography is where it all began for me in a professional sense. At the age of 15, I saved every penny I could and purchased my first SLR. My talents immediately found work shooting football & basketball for the local newspaper. Many years later I currently shoot all types of sports from Professional Cycling to UF Women's Volleyball & Soccer to PGA Golf to HS Football to sports related work such as UF pre-game festivities for a tailgating magazine. I have also built relationships with numerous sporting organizations such as the Florida Track Club and the Gainesville Sports Organizing Committee to shoot their events.
